Michael Broadley 

Team Rector

Michael has been Team Rector of Emmanuel with St Mary's since September
2010. Prior to moving to Loughborough in 2010 he was Team Vicar of St Marks
Church within the Parish of Horsham in West Sussex from 2001. Michael served
his curacy in Egham Surrey. Moving to Loughborough, with his family, has
reacquainted Michael with the East Midlands as he was born in Derby and
spent most of his formative years in Nottingham. Michael enjoys watching
most sports, participating in some and has a passion for Derby County FC. Contact Michael HERE.

 

Sue Field

Team Vicar

Sue has been Team Vicar of Emmanuel and St Mary's since 1998, having previously served as chaplain for Loughborough University and Colleges and before that as curate in the parish of Coleshill with Maxstoke in the Diocese of Birmingham. Within the parish, she has particular responsibility for St. Mary's but enjoys being part of a wider team serving both churches. She trained in an ecumenical college and values the opportunities in Loughborough for working with other churches in the town. In addition to her parish work, Sue holds the post of Diocesan Director of Ordinands (DDO) in the Diocese of Leicester which involves being alongside people who sense a call to ordained ministry and seeing them through that process. Jennie Drew

Associate Minister

Having lived most of my life in the south east of England, I crossed the north/south divide in 1999 to train as a priest in the beautiful city of Durham.  I was ordained in Durham Cathedral and went on to enjoy four years as a full-time Curate working in the South Tyneside towns of Hebburn and Jarrow.  Shortly after I married Bob in 2005, we moved to Coalville, where I worked part-time at St David's Church in Broom Leys.  We first came to Emmanuel for a one-off visit in 2008 and found ourselves unable to leave.  Bob and I met on a walking holiday and contine to enjoy walking together. I also enjoy reading, pottering in the house and garden, and making greeting cards for friends and family.
