Welcome to the parish pages of the Emmanuel and St. Mary-in-Charnwood website. This Anglican parish which stretches from Loughborough town centre to the edge of Charnwood Forest has been served by two churches for many years, formerly with St. Mary’s as a daughter church of Emmanuel, but since the early nineties as a team ministry. This has allowed each church to develop its own identity, while at the same time serving the same geographical area. At the same time we benefit from the strengths of teamwork, sharing resources and working together in a number of initiatives. We are united in our desire to see God’s Kingdom grow in Loughborough and believe that our diversity is a strength in enabling us to reach as wide a number of people as possible with the good news of God’s love and grace.
