Little People exists to provide a meeting point for carers and their children under the age of 4/5 years. We hope to provide a caring Christian environment where the children have fun and the carers have a chat with friends old and new.
On a typical Monday or Friday morning, the doors open at 10am in the Church Centre to around 40 children and their carers. We have our 'Story time' by half past, and that's the cue for biscuits and drinks. The story sometimes comes from the Bible, but we also like to use mainstream children's books to link to our chosen theme. There's always something for the children to make which links into the theme of the day, and lots of toys to play with inbetween! Towards the end of the session, we celebrate birthdays and have a really good singsong, finishing with our 'Flag song', the theme tune of Little People!
We also celebrate special events in the church year - our Nativity event in 2005 saw around 50 children dressed as assorted angels, shepherds and animals in church (all TOO cute to believe!) and another 150 family and friends who celebrated with a short service in church, followed by a party and a visit by Father Christmas.
A warm welcome awaits you and your child(ren) - we look forward to seeing you!

A creche is also available during many services. For more information please click HERE. One of our housegroups also has a creche available and is thus well suited to young parents. For more details click HERE and go down to 'Wednesday morning group'
