Because we realise that one size fits all T-shirts end up fitting nobody very well, we don’t try and do everything all together all the time. So on a Sunday morning at Emmanuel (apart from the first Sunday of the month when there’s an All Age Service) our adults, children and young people split into different age groups for about 45 minutes. The adults (& school year 10+) stay together for a sermon, and children and young people go off to discover Jesus together with friends of their own age. Those groups are:

Climbers 2-4’s 
Climbers 5-7’s 
God’s Gang (School years 3 & 4) 
God Squad (School years 5 & 6) 
Pathfinders (School years 7-9)

We haven’t forgotten about school years 10+, but because Sunday morning is usually a bit early for them, their groups happen on a mid-week evening!
