Students are a vital part of the Emmanuel family.
As well as the whole range of Emmanuel events and groups being open to students we recognize that being at university or college often presents joys and challenges which it’s good to share with others in the same boat. Therefore, we arrange and support various groups and events designed especially for students; these run both at Emmanuel and across the churches of the town. If you’d like more info on any of these things why not join our e-mailing list? It’s free and you’ll receive a weekly e-mail during term time with what’s going on. To join please click HERE. Alternatively click through the menu at the top of this page for more info about what's going on...
Small Groups (also known as cell groups)...
...are a vital part of what we do. They're a great way to meet others and go deeper with God, for more info on them visit the special page HERE.
Student Mentoring
We offer the opportunity for all students to meet and chat with someone. For more details click HERE.
Sunday Services
All are welcome to all services at Emmanuel, but Evening Praise (Sundays @ 6:30pm) is tailored to you. After most Evening Praise’s a bunch of people head to the pub – again all are welcome – just follow the crowd! For details on other services please click HERE. And if you are away during holidays you can even stay in touch by listening on-line HERE!
Getting Involved
We believe all Christians are called to something. If you know what God wants you to do and would like to do it at Emmanuel then make sure you chat to one of the leadership team. If you’re not sure what God is calling you to do then come and have a chat and we can try and work it out together. Lots goes on at Emmanuel so there are plenty of opportunities to be involved with such things as Youth and Children’s Work, the Music Team, serving the community and loads more. There’s also an exciting year in (gap year) scheme, DNA, you may want to find out more about, click HERE for more info. For any other questions please contact Barry Hill HERE or ask one of the student leaders.
