The breakdown of relationships in Britain is one of the most damaging social problems facing society today. It affects all socio-economic areas from crime to mental health, from truancy to child abuse and from a shortage of housing to domestic violence.
Most national and local government iniatives are aimed at dealing with the short term effects of relationship failure. Formed in 2002 by members of six Loughborough churches, Building Relationships is part of an independent grouping which is drawing attention of policy makers to long term strategic answers as well as providing on the ground training and educational programmes in all contexts.
From parenting classes to marriage mentoring and on-going support through The Marriage Course, Building Relationships exists to help people across Loughborough and beyond.
For more information on Building Relationships, or any of the support it offers, please contact Stephen Barney through the Parish Office (click HERE).
Building Relationships is a member of The National Association of Community Family Trusts.
