The group was formed out of the Church football team, and the members are largely involved within the Church football team. We are operating under cell principles (as far as we can), and are committed to discipling and encouraging one another in our search for a deeper relationship with Christ.

Our group meets on Wednesday mornings for two hours from 9.45 am. There are eleven members of the group. We arrange a number of social events during the year when our two male members are joined by the husbands of two of the ladies. Although retired we are a fairly active group with members who play bowls - attend a gym or yoga class - help at Church in the Office, as Stewards, flower arrangers, welcomers, in prayer ministry and members of Guild and Mothers' Union.'

Our house group tries to provide an atmosphere of peace and the opportunity to share joys and concerns as well as support for each other. The fellowship is strong because we continue to read God's word together and support each other as we journey along the Christian path. Bill and Bev have recently taken over as leaders and have a real heart for reaching out to others. | |

Our house group meets each week at my home on Thursday from 7.45 to 9.30 pm and we really look forward to the time we spend together. There is a feeling of warmth and loyalty. Apart from the prayer and Bible study (which at the moment we are following the sermon tapes and notes on St Mark's Gospel) we are very genuinely interested in one another's lives and share our joys and concerns - we keep in touch very often during the week. We are all committed to the teachings of Jesus and apply these to our day to day lives. We also enjoy our tea and biscuits! - and would welcome new members.

| Thursday evening fortnightly | |
|
We meet fortnightly, on a Thursday evening, starting at 8 pm and finishing around 10 pm. Initially we chat over a coffee/tea, followed by a time of prayer and a bible study. This is a great time of Christian fellowship where we can reflect on God's word, relate this to our every day lives, and encourage each other in our faith.
