logoLoughborough Emmanuel Football Club was formed in the mid 90s to give people a chance to give men from the church (and surrounding churches) the opportunity to play competitive football.  After several successful years in the Leicestershire Church League, the decision was made to join the North Leicestershire League for the start of the 2009/10 season.  After a first successful season in the North Leicestershire League, where we finished 5th and also won the Division 3 fair play award (nominated by other managers), we're now looking forward to our start in the 2010/11 season.

We are a competitive team, and always enjoy playing friendlies and games against teams.  We also welcome new players in any position (but we are quite keen on goalkeepers at the moment).  Training is open to all regardless of ability.  When it comes to matches we will generally attempt to play the strongest possible 11 however.  We aim to be distinctive in the way that we play and to generate a good atmosphere between club officials, small footballplayers (on both teams) and match referees.  We want to enjoy playing competitive football with a good spirit and in a sporting fashion!

If you would like to get involved, why not get in touch with the manager, Graeme Smith - you can do this by sending an email to the Church Office and marking it for the attention of Loughborough Emmanuel FC (Mens).
