Eleanor Jeans moved to Loughborough from Manchester 2 years ago.  As Director of Music, she runs the music for the 10am and 6.30pm services each week.  She is passionate about using music in outreach to the local community and is involved in the children’s choir and lunchtime concerts.  In November 2005 ‘This Man Called Jesus’ (an Easter musical written by Eleanor and two friends) was published and is being performed by many schools throughout the UK.  As well as working as Director of Music at Emmanuel, Eleanor also teaches the violin, plays the violin professionally, conducts the string orchestra at Loughborough University and is a member of the classical worship group ‘Wellspring’.  In her spare time, Eleanor enjoys meeting up with friends, going to the cinema, reading and organising holidays.  She sometimes also admits she is a Sheffield Wednesday fan!  Contact Eleanor HERE.
