Lea Cobham

Lea is from the great city of Nottingham, and a recent graduate form Loughborough University where she studied Sport and Exercise Science. She's currently buzzing around searching for Gods call in her life and is passionate about making a difference for God wherever He leads her to wander. Lea loves playing football and is a BUSA (gold) medallist with the Loughborough Students WFC. In her spare time Lea likes socialising, sampling the local ale and listening to her ever growing vinyl collection. Lea also has an unfortunate tendency to use animated film quotes in semi serious convocation.

Tim Sandford writes...

"I grew up in Dronfield near Sheffield. I have two brothers and one sister who, I'm sorry to admit, cannot in the least bit be blamed for the way I turned out - being three of the nicest people you could ever meet. I followed my two elder brothers to Loughborough University, which accepted "want to play for the same football team" as a valid reason for application. After a brief venture to Leicester and a year of sleepless nights training to be a teacher, I returned to Loughborough (the centre of the universe) and spent two years teaching maths."

Joey Graver

Following on from her DNA yearm Joey is now volunteering two days a week at Emmanuel as part of the follow-on year OnLine:

Joey was born in Norfolk, near Norwich, where she trained as a nurse. She studied at Loughborough University in 2004-2005 as well as working at the local hospital. She moved to Hull at the beginning of 2006 to work in public health.  She is passionate about outreach work and is keen to explore this area amongst everything else. She loves playing sport, especially badminton and football. But she is willing to try any sport once (as long as there are no heights involved!!!!!).
